Combinatorial game theory | Mathematical games
The combinatorial game Toads and Frogs is a partisan game invented by Richard Guy. This mathematical game was used as an introductory game in the book Winning Ways for your Mathematical Plays. Known for its simplicity and the elegance of its rules, Toads-and-Frogs is useful to illustrate the main concepts of combinatorial game theory. In particular, it is not difficult to evaluate simple games involving only one toad and one frog, by constructing the game tree of the starting position. However, the general case of evaluating an arbitrary position is known to be NP-hard. There are some open conjectures on the value of some remarkable positions. A one-player puzzle version of the game has also been considered. (Wikipedia).
Frogs are really cool! They can jump high, swim fast, and their skin is super slimy! But frogs have some less-slimy, less-hoppy relatives that are just as cool: toads! Join Jessi and squeaks to learn the big and little differences between these two types of animals. ---------- Like SciSho

Why Frog Tongues Are The Ultimate Weapon
A frog’s tongue can catch flies faster than you can blink. It shoots out of its mouth colliding with the fly, covering it in some of the stickiest spit on Earth. That mucus is so strong, the frog can lift 1.4 times its body weight, the equivalent of a human lifting up a refrigerator with i

What Makes This Frog's Tongue So Fast AND Sticky? | Deep Look
How are frogs and toads so amazing at catching bugs? They smack ’em with a supersoft tongue covered in special spit, which flows into every nook and cranny of their target. Then, in less than a second, that spit transforms into a tacky glue, yanking the meal back into the toad’s maw. SUBS
