Signal estimation | Fourier analysis | Types of functions
In discrete-time signal processing, windowing is a preliminary signal shaping technique, usually applied to improve the appearance and usefulness of a subsequent Discrete Fourier Transform. Several window functions can be defined, based on a constant (rectangular window), B-splines, other polynomials, sinusoids, cosine-sums, adjustable, hybrid, and other types. The windowing operation consists of multiplying the given sampled signal by the window function. (Wikipedia).
When is a function bounded below?
๐ Learn about the characteristics of a function. Given a function, we can determine the characteristics of the function's graph. We can determine the end behavior of the graph of the function (rises or falls left and rises or falls right). We can determine the number of zeros of the functi
