Queueing theory | Markov processes
In probability theory, the spectral expansion solution method is a technique for computing the stationary probability distribution of a continuous-time Markov chain whose state space is a semi-infinite lattice strip. For example, an M/M/c queue where service nodes can breakdown and be repaired has a two-dimensional state space where one dimension has a finite limit and the other is unbounded. The stationary distribution vector is expressed directly (not as a transform) in terms of eigenvalues and eigenvectors of a matrix polynomial. (Wikipedia).
Exapanding a logarithmic expression using the rules of logarithms
👉 Learn how to expand logarithmic expressions involving radicals. A logarithmic expression is an expression having logarithms in it. To expand logarithmic expressions means to use the logarithm laws to expand (open up) logarithm expressions from the condensed form to an expanded form. Know

Isolating a logarithm and using the power rule to solve
👉 Learn how to solve logarithmic equations. Logarithmic equations are equations with logarithms in them. To solve a logarithmic equation, we first isolate the logarithm part of the equation. After we have isolated the logarithm part of the equation, we then get rid of the logarithm. This i

Bertrand Eynard - Considerations about Resurgence Properties of Topological Recursion
To a spectral curve $S$ (e.g. a plane curve with some extra structure), topological recursion associates a sequence of invariants: some numbers $F_g(S)$ and some $n$-forms $W_{g,n}(S)$. First we show that $F_g(S)$ grow at most factorially at large $g$, $F_g = O((
