Decomposition of time series

The decomposition of time series is a statistical task that deconstructs a time series into several components, each representing one of the underlying categories of patterns. There are two principal types of decomposition, which are outlined below. (Wikipedia).

What is a series?

Definition and examples of series. In this video, I define the notion of a series using partial sums, and give a couple of examples of series. I also show the fact used in many times in calculus that a series converges if and only if it is bounded, which is used many times in calculus. Enj
