Understanding SLAM Using Pose Graph Optimization | Autonomous Navigation, Part 3
This video provides some intuition around Pose Graph Optimization—a popular framework for solving the simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) problem in autonomous navigation. We’ll cover why uncertainty in a vehicle’s sensors and state estimation makes building a map of the environm

A circular maze with scattering corners
In this third simulation of particles in a circular maze, circular scatterers have been added in the corners of the cells. We have seen in the previous simulation https://youtu.be/KfwIyIxvLUg that without such scatterers, the particles have trouble moving in the angular direction, due to t

Frédéric Patras - Noncommutative Wick Polynomials
Wick polynomials are at the foundations of QFT (they encode normal orderings) and probability (they encode chaos decompositions). In this lecture, we survey the construction and properties of noncommutative (or free) analogs using shuffle Hopf algebra techniques. Based on joint works wit
