Vector bornology

In mathematics, especially functional analysis, a bornology on a vector space over a field where has a bornology ℬ, is called a vector bornology if makes the vector space operations into bounded maps. (Wikipedia).

1 Vectors

A short refresher on vectors. Before I introduce vector-based functions, it's important to look at vectors themselves and how they are represented in python™ and the IPython Notebook using SymPy.

Linear Algebra for Computer Scientists. 1. Introducing Vectors

This computer science video is one of a series on linear algebra for computer scientists. This video introduces the concept of a vector. A vector is essentially a list of numbers that can be represented with an array or a function. Vectors are used for data analysis in a wide range of f

Thomas Weighill: The Coarse Geometry of Hyperspaces

Thomas Weighill, UNC Greensboro Title: The Coarse Geometry of Hyperspaces We study the geometry of the space of subsets of an ambient metric space $X$ equipped with the Hausdorff metric. We show that for the space of subsets with at most n points, most coarse geometric properties are inher

Semi-coarse Spaces, Homotopy [Jonathan Treviño-Marroquín]

Semi-coarse spaces is an alternative to study (undirected) graphs through large-scale geometry. In this video, we present the structure and a homotopy what we worked on. In the final part, we look at the fundamental homotopy group of cyclic graphs.
