In mathematics, specifically in functional analysis and order theory, a topological vector lattice is a Hausdorff topological vector space (TVS) that has a partial order making it into vector lattice that is possesses a neighborhood base at the origin consisting of solid sets. Ordered vector lattices have important applications in spectral theory. (Wikipedia).

Lattice relations + Hermite normal form|Abstract Algebra Math Foundations 224 | NJ Wildberger
We introduce lattices and integral linear spans of vexels. These are remarkably flexible, common and useful algebraic objects, and they are the direct integral analogs of vector spaces. To understand the structure of a given lattice, the algorithm to compute a Hermite normal form basis is

What is a Vector Space? (Abstract Algebra)
Vector spaces are one of the fundamental objects you study in abstract algebra. They are a significant generalization of the 2- and 3-dimensional vectors you study in science. In this lesson we talk about the definition of a vector space and give a few surprising examples. Be sure to su

After our introduction to matrices and vectors and our first deeper dive into matrices, it is time for us to start the deeper dive into vectors. Vector spaces can be vectors, matrices, and even function. In this video I talk about vector spaces, subspaces, and the porperties of vector sp

Linear spaces and spans I | Abstract Algebra Math Foundations 219 | NJ Wildberger
The simplest and most common examples of abstract algebraic objects are probably linear spaces. They occur in many areas of mathematics, and are pillars of linear algebra, where they are often called vector spaces. Our approach will be to generalize simple aspects of Nat, Int and Rat from
