Theta divisor

In mathematics, the theta divisor Θ is the divisor in the sense of algebraic geometry defined on an abelian variety A over the complex numbers (and principally polarized) by the zero locus of the associated Riemann theta-function. It is therefore an algebraic subvariety of A of dimension dim A − 1. (Wikipedia).

In this video we just explain that they differ by the sum of j^2's. There is not much to it. The contention of Jakob and Peter is that this is basically the only relation (Mochizuki says that they claim there is a possible quotient).
