In number theory, the gcd-sum function, also called Pillai's arithmetical function, is defined for every by or equivalently where is a divisor of and is Euler's totient function. it also can be written as where, is the divisor function, and is the Möbius function. This multiplicative arithmetical function was introduced by the Indian mathematician Subbayya Sivasankaranarayana Pillai in 1933. (Wikipedia).

Theory of numbers: Multiplicative functions
This lecture is part of an online undergraduate course on the theory of numbers. Multiplicative functions are functions such that f(mn)=f(m)f(n) whenever m and n are coprime. We discuss some examples, such as the number of divisors, the sum of the divisors, and Euler's totient function.

Stable and NIP regularity in groups - G. Conant - Workshop 1 - CEB T1 2018
Gabriel Conant (Notre Dame) / 01.02.2018 We use local stability theory to prove a group version of Szemer´edi regularity for stable subsets of finite groups. Toward generalizing this result to the NIP setting, we consider definable set systems of finite VC-dimension in pseudofinite groups
