Phosphirenium ion

Phosphirenium ions (R1R2C2PY1Y+2) are a series of organophosphorus compounds containing unsaturated three-membered ring phosphorus (V) heterocycles and is believed to be present in such molecules. Many of the salts containing phosphirenium ions have been isolated and characterized by NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. (Wikipedia).

Acids and Bases - Short Revision || CBSE Science || || Infinity Learn Class 9&10

Acids and bases are two types of substances that are fundamental to chemistry. An acid is a substance that donates protons (hydrogen ions, H+) to a solution, while a base is a substance that accepts protons or donates hydroxide ions (OH-) to a solution. There are several ways to define and

Ions and ionic bonding explained: from fizzics.org

Ionic bonding is the force of attraction between a positively charged metal ion and a negatively charged non-metal ion. Metals form positive ions because they lose electrons to become stable transferring this to the non metal which also achieves a full outer electron energy level to become
