Prismatoid polyhedra

Pentagrammic crossed-antiprism

In geometry, the pentagrammic crossed-antiprism is one in an infinite set of nonconvex antiprisms formed by triangle sides and two regular star polygon caps, in this case two pentagrams. It differs from the pentagrammic antiprism by having opposite orientations on the two pentagrams. This polyhedron is identified with the indexed name U80 as a uniform polyhedron. The pentagrammic crossed-antiprism may be inscribed within an icosahedron, and has ten triangular faces in common with the great icosahedron. It has the same vertex arrangement as the pentagonal antiprism. In fact, it may be considered as a parabidiminished great icosahedron. (Wikipedia).

Parallel Lines and Transversals - Geometry

Two lines in a plane that never cross are called parallel lines. Any line which crosses both of the parallel lines is called a transversal. In this video we talk about corresponding angles and vertical angles formed by a transversal. It's important to remember that these results are for

Isomorphisms (Abstract Algebra)

An isomorphism is a homomorphism that is also a bijection. If there is an isomorphism between two groups G and H, then they are equivalent and we say they are "isomorphic." The groups may look different from each other, but their group properties will be the same. Be sure to subscribe s

In this lecture, we introduce the cross product of two planar vectors: a somewhat novel notion that allows us to establish the signed area notion for general triangles. We are touching base with linear algebraic ideas here in establishing the linearity and skew-symmetric properties of the
