NEi Nastran

NEi Nastran was an engineering analysis and simulation software product of NEi Software (formerly known as Noran Engineering, Inc.) Based on NASA's Structural Analysis program NASTRAN, the software is a finite element analysis (FEA) solver used to generate solutions for linear and nonlinear stress, dynamics, and heat transfer characteristics of structures and mechanical components. NEi Nastran software is used with all major industry pre and post processors including Femap, a product of Siemens PLM Software, in house brands NEi Nastran in-CAD, NEi Fusion, and NEi Works for SolidWorks. This software was acquired by Autodesk in May 2014. Computational Physics Lecture 12, Special Matrices and Gauss-Seidel

In this lecture, we discuss the systems of linear algebraic equations with banded and symmetric matrices. We introduce the methods to solve them such as the Thomas algorithm and the Cholesky decomposition. Finally, we discuss the Gauss-Seidel iteration and relaxation methods. This video w

Lecture 9, Find the Hero: Ary Scheffer's The Retreat of Napoleon's Army from Russia in 1812 (1826)

The painter of this little-known Romantic work, a new acquisition by the Gallery, shows the remnants of the Grande Armée in the greatest defeat in military history. What sense does he make of the event? The questions he poses about war and true heroism are still pressing.

A. Mondino - Metric measure spaces satisfying Ricci curvature lower bounds 4 (version temporaire)

The idea of compactifying the space of Riemannian manifolds satisfying Ricci curvature lower bounds goes back to Gromov in the '80ies and was pushed by Cheeger-Colding in the ‘90ies, who investigated the structure of spaces arising as Gromov-Hausdorff limits of smooth Riemannian manifolds
