The Joint Theater Level Simulation (JTLS) is used to simulate joint, combined, and coalition civil-military operations at the operational level. Used for civil/military simulations and humanitarian assistance/disaster relief (HA/DR) scenarios, JTLS is an interactive, computer-assisted simulation that models multi-sided air, ground, and naval resources with logistical Special Operation Forces (SOF) and intelligence support. The primary purpose of JTLS is to create a realistic environment in which agency staff can operate as they would within a real-world or operational situation. A training audience conducts a scenario or event to practice their ability to coordinate various staff functions. (Wikipedia).

A solar system, a simulation made with Excel
An Excel simulation of the solar system. You can see how things are recursively computed: the mutual gravity force from the locations, the accelerations, the velocities, and finally the updated locations. The solar eclipse is also shown. This is clip is intended to illustrate Chapter 24 Ap

Two-body problem, a simulation made with Excel
The clip demonstrates the effects of mutual gravitation of two bodies of comparable mass. It’s implemented with Excel and you can see how things are computed: the location, the net force, the acceleration, the velocity, and the new location. This is clip is intended to illustrate Chapter 2

Dual basis definition and proof that it's a basis In this video, given a basis beta of a vector space V, I define the dual basis beta* of V*, and show that it's indeed a basis. We'll see many more applications of this concept later on, but this video already shows that it's straightforwar
