Horseshoe (⊃, \supset in TeX) is a symbol used to represent: * Material conditional in propositional logic * Superset in set theory It was used by Whitehead and Russell in Principia Mathematica. In Unicode the symbol is encoded U+2283 ⊃ SUPERSET OF (⊃, ⊃, ⊃). (Wikipedia).
