Hans Hermes (German: [ˈhɛʁmɛs]; 12 February 1912 – 10 November 2003) was a German mathematician and logician, who made significant contributions to the foundations of mathematical logic. Hermes was born in Neunkirchen, Germany. (Wikipedia).
