Convex geometry | Dynamical systems
In Euclidean plane geometry, the equichordal point problem is the question whether a closed planar convex body can have two equichordal points. The problem was originally posed in 1916 by Fujiwara and in 1917 by Wilhelm Blaschke, Hermann Rothe, and Roland Weitzenböck. A generalization of this problem statement was answered in the negative in 1997 by Marek R. Rychlik. (Wikipedia).
Equilateral Triangle & Rectangle Phenomenon
Equilateral triangle & rectangle have common vertex here. Other 2 triangle vertices lie on the rectangle. How can we prove this phenomenon? 🤔 https://www.geogebra.org/m/jF3acAgK #GeoGebra #MTBoS #ITeachMath #geometry #math #maths #GeomChat #proof #MathEd

equilateral triangle on a parabola
equilateral triangle on a parabola. Find two points on the parabola y = 1-x^2 such that the triangle formed by the x axis and going through those points is equilateral. It is a nice problem that combines calculus and geometry, more specifically tangent lines, intercepts, distances, and ins

Constructing the Circumcircle of an Equilateral Triangle
This video shows how to construct the circumcircle of an equilateral triangle. The steps are: 1. Construct an equilateral triangle (keep the compass the same length). 2. Construct the perpendicular bisector of any two sides. 3. Set the compass to the length of the circumcenter (created
