Thermodynamic entropy | Quantum mechanical entropy
Entanglement distillation (also called entanglement purification) is the transformation of N copies of an arbitrary entangled state into some number of approximately pure Bell pairs, using only local operations and classical communication. Quantum entanglement distillation can in this way overcome the degenerative influence of noisy quantum channels by transforming previously shared less entangled pairs into a smaller number of maximally entangled pairs. (Wikipedia).
What is an enlargement dilation
👉 Learn about dilations. Dilation is the transformation of a shape by a scale factor to produce an image that is similar to the original shape but is different in size from the original shape. A dilation that creates a larger image is called an enlargement or a stretch while a dilation tha

Separating Liquids by Distillation
We've got extraction and chromatography down, so let's learn one more separation technique. This one is pretty simple, it separates mixtures of liquids by differences in boiling point, and it's called distillation. If two liquids have very different boiling points, we should be able to hea

We just learned two separation techniques, so let's learn one more! Distillation separates compounds by virtue of their differing boiling points. If two liquids are miscible, we can't perform extraction, but if they have very different boiling points, we can heat the mixture to a temperatu
