Discrete Mathematics (journal)

Discrete Mathematics is a biweekly peer-reviewed scientific journal in the broad area of discrete mathematics, combinatorics, graph theory, and their applications. It was established in 1971 and is published by North-Holland Publishing Company. It publishes both short notes, full length contributions, as well as survey articles. In addition, the journal publishes a number of special issues each year dedicated to a particular topic. Although originally it published articles in French and German, it now allows only English language articles. The editor-in-chief is Douglas West (University of Illinois, Urbana). (Wikipedia).

Discrete Mathematics for Computer Science

In this video I will show you an older book on Discrete Mathematics. This is a course that Computer Science majors take in college in the United States. Discrete Math is considered a very tough course as many people struggle with it because it is very different from Calculus. I hope this h

Discrete Math Book for Beginners

This is a really good discrete math book for beginners. I think this is easier to read than some of the other discrete math books out there. If you are taking discrete math I highly recommend this one. The book is called Discrete Mathematical Structures and it was written by Kolman, Busby

Improved contraction methods for discrete boundary value problems

This work features new mathematical research. It analyzes a two--point boundary value problem (BVP) involving a first--order difference equation, known as the ``discrete'' BVP. Some sufficient conditions are formulated under which the discrete BVP will possess a unique solution. The inno
