Linear filters | Filter frequency response
An all-pass filter is a signal processing filter that passes all frequencies equally in gain, but changes the phase relationship among various frequencies. Most types of filter reduce the amplitude (i.e. the magnitude) of the signal applied to it for some values of frequency, whereas the all-pass filter allows all frequencies through without changes in level. Frequency domain – tutorial 3: filtering (periodic signals)
In this video, we learn about filtering which enables us to manipulate the frequency content of a signal. A common filtering application is to preserve desired frequencies and reject the unwanted content. The learning objectives are to: 1) review the filtering concept using Fourier series
